Question about Microsoft Account

So when I first got my xbox I was younger so I used my dad's Microsoft account.  Now that I've built my pc I've been wanting to try the streaming feature to stream my xbox games to my pc.  What I was wondering was if I could sign in with my dad's microsoft account on my pc but only use it for streaming the games and then have my own account for the rest of the pc.  Basically what I'm asking is if I could stream games to my pc with my pc having a separate Microsoft account than what my xbox has.  Thanks- Daniel

I think they both need to be signed into same account.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.
