Hi i built my first pc like 1 month ago. And i got the Gigabyte 980 ti gpu and i'm having some problems with it. For example i used to have 300+fps on counter strike  like 2 weeks ago but now its only 230 ish on dust 2. And i get alot of frame drops on Gta v, in grassy areas i get like 30-40 fps and sometimes in the city too. Sometimes it kinda locks to 30 fps for like 10 secs. Just random fps problems and mostly when its around 70 degrees i don't really know. Also when i turn off ¨ignore suggested limits¨ it says that i'm using more video memory than i should and can result in stability issues and stuff, but i'm only using 3300MB/6100MB.

I'm playing on 1080p and i have high grass quality and some very highs and distance scaling half etc.

And i have all the latest drivers

heres my specs:

gigabyte 980 ti

i5 6600k 3.5ghz

corsair 16gb 2666mhz ddr4

Please help :/

That's strange. I have a 970 and im getting around 300fps. CSGO is a CPU dependant game it legit doesn't give a fuck about your GPU, Are you using VGA to hook it up to your monitor or something ?

VGA signal tends to degrade easily. TBH I don't think it has anything to do with that.

Im using VGA and DVI

RMA if it is within the return period of the store you bought it from take it back and replace it if not contact the manufacturer I.E. Gigabyte and they will give you a shipping label and you ship it ff to them and they send you a replacement
