4670k Overclocking

So I recently built a new PC, using a 4670k and H100i for cooling. I've been tweaking with overclocks the past two days, and I've hit two stable points.

4.4GHz at 1.25v and 4.5Ghz at 1.3v

Whenever I stress test each of these, the temps still stay really low, at around mid 60's. When I try to bump up to 4.7Ghz I basically BSOD at login, or when booting.

Is this just my chip? Will I not be able to get higher than 4.6, even with my low temps?

Thanks guys

You have a  better chip than mine. 4.4Ghz @1.28V

Try going to 4.7Ghz @1.375 or 1.4V then bump it down if need be.

I've read that going over 1.3 is just like, frowned upon, for whatever reason. Do you think it will be fine with my temps?

you dont know what the temps will be until you try

I wouldnt suggest going past 1.45V and 1.5V absolute maximum. truth is you most likely wont get past 1.4V in regards to max temp output.

see if you can find some useful info here

You have to run some tests first. I don't know what temps you will get.

Over 1.3V is like the Yellow Zone. Not too good and not too bad for the CPU. 1.4V is the Red Zone.
