Hello, I am thinking of buying the Beyerdinamic DT990 for my daily driver for my computer. I am thinking about buying the 32Ohm version, and my question is will I need an amp to drive the headphones or not?

Most likely not unless you've got some pretty terrible on-board audio but it's generally best to buy it then buy a amp if required,

Get the 250 or 600, either will run fine off of onboard, but will "perk" up a bit with an amp.

 

The 990 Prems are probably my favorite of all my headphones, lol.
