Refresh rate?

Go to solution Solved by Kana,

144hz. In fact I'd go for this monitor http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/UM.HB0AA.001 G-Sync, 144hz, 1440p. Much better choice for one 980ti

2k 144hz

Really depends what games you are going to be playing- for more competitive, I would recommend 144hz, but for other games, less competitive games, 60hz 4k would be beautiful!

2k 144hz is perfect for a 980 ti. Since 4k is harder to push above 45 fps in many new titles, though in commonly played ftp games(Lol, Smite, tf2, etc) you'll be fine.

4K, it's quite the experience! :)

Don't worry about frames, I pushed 60FPS fine on GTAV, MGSV, and FO4 at high/ultra settings (and thats with a terrible gaming CPU)

unless playing competitively 144hz means TN panel which looks like shit, so IPS is the way to go, and im running Fallout 4 at high/medium settings at 4k 45+ fps if not locked at 60 on my X34 monitor using 2 780´s, i recommend just like Linus that if you use it for other things aswell 4k is amazing for simple multitasking, like right now i got half my monitor running spotify and the other chrome so that i can easily go between. (i still miss my 4 monitor setup tho :(  )
