SSD Os install

Welcome to the Forum.

 

You would need to set up a RAID 0 in the first place, then install on the 'one' drive that the Windows installer should recognize.

However, I wouldn't recommend RAID0ing four SSDs because if one dies you're going to lose all of your data.

 

Also what SSDs are these?

Hello! I have 4 SSDs on my computer and I don't know how to install an OS onto all of them, I'm not sure if I need to install it to only one and then set up a RAID 0 or something. Please help!

 

Welcome to the Forums!

 

You would setup the array before installing and it's would be a bit risky for important data since your multiply the possibly of failure by 4.

Thanks for your help! The SSDs I have are m.2 Samsung EVOs (500gb)(Response to Tedster).  I've been using one Samsung m.2 for quite a while and I haven't had any problems at all. How would I set up a RAID 0 before installing the OS (as W-L mentions).

motherboard raid drivers, you load the driver during the OS install

Thanks! But as you can tell, I'm a bit new to this stuff, I know hardware but not much software... How do I do the RAID with motherboard drives?

 

It would be a very similar process to this, however I still personally don't recommend a 4 drive RAID 0 just due to the risk of data loss:
