I'm trying to download drivers foe the Asus Z170-A motherboard and it keeps telling me that it does not support my operating system which is Win10 64. If you know why its doing this help. I'm trying to download the chipset, LAN, and Audio drivers.

I did

try running as admin first

 

and then try right click on the exe file and then go to compatibility -> windows 7 and then check run as admin, hit ok, and try running it again

It opened ran and then when it was about to get done if gave a fatal error.

Is it a clean install of windows 10, and your 100% that it's 64bit?

Did you upgrade from windows 7/8 or do a clean install wiping everything on the drive you installed it on.

clean install on new computer I built.

Do I need to have and activated copy of windows?
