so i am planning to upgrade my GPU to an R9 390 but my worry is that it will be bottle necked by my existing system ( specs on the bottom), but i am planning to overhaul my whole system, just saving up some money, is it wise or okay to purchase the 390 first and then put it in my existing system or should i buy the cpu, mobo, ram and PSU first?

thoughts?

I'd say the GPU, there would be a bottleneck but the performance difference from CPU (depending on the CPU you get) or a GPU you notice more from a GPU most likely.

You might want to check up on that power supply before purchasing, but I'm sure it would be fine in the interim

i have a thermaltake lt-500nl2nl 500W PSU

Rest -> Cpu

The PSU should definitely come before the GPU because the Thermaltake you have is very low quality and will not handle the R9 390 for long.

so rest first it is, thanks guys,
