I'm planning to build my first ever pc. Currently I have a really old PC equipped with an Athlon X2 and DDR2, because of that it has become borderline useless and I've been planning to build one for a while. I'm from El Salvador, Central America, and that limits me with the kind of components I can afford and ship. I'm going for a build that can last me for a while, trying to go for some "future-proof" features  today's hardware, so I planned a Skylake build and I would like to know if I'm getting a good price-performance taking into account that I will hace this system for a while.
Here's my part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/BenjaM/saved/ZPpcCJ

This PC will be used mainly for productivity, university tasks and some gaming at 1080p.
I'm an software engineering student so I will be handling some 3D work and mainly programming, the PC that I have currently limits me in what kind of programming software I can run. I plan to overclock the 6600k to 4.5 Ghz or 4.6 Ghz to get the max out of it and enhance the single core processes.

Some of the choices in the list were made because it is easier to get them locally right now, like the Razer Case, I wanted the Standard S340 but the cost to ship that would be higher than buying it from local store for $109.00 US Dollars, same for the power supply. Another thing to note is that Skylake, DDR4 and Z170 or X99 chipsets are very hard if not impossible to find right now in the country, so I will have to ship those. But I would really like to go for this, and not a Haswell based rig that still performs very similar because of how many years will that last.

Because of the taxes I will be paying more than what Newegg or Amazon prices are. I'm limiting my budget to $1300 US Dollars, using whatever keyboard and mouse that offer good performance at low cost and a 1080p monitor.

I want to know your opinions on the build, keep in mind I'm from Central America if you suggest any components. Thanks

Remove the Corsair CX power supply I hear they are bad and might catch on fire at one point. Also, what games are you planning to play?

That's a solid build, the only thing I'd change for that would be to pick a GPU with a 4 GB frame buffer like this 960, to further future proof it. You may want to pick up a standard HDD as a storage drive as well, cause that 250 GB SSD will fill up faster than you think.

My local stores only offers Corsair PSU so theres that. I plan to run things like GTA V, Battlefield 4, Crysis 3 and many other mainstream titles maxed out at 1080p if I can, but its not a gaming only machine. I decided to only get a 960 and get 16GB of ram.

I forgot to add the HDD, sorry. I guess any 1TB from seagate will do. I heard 4GB is not really worth it in the gtx 960 that's why I went for only 2GB hoping to find it for cheaper.

Ok if thats the only choice for a PSU then thats fine. And you only want a 960 with 2GB of VRAM?

Please dont get Deagate. Go with WD. :). Seagate drives have the most failure rate.

Haha yeah, I also use WD. Its at the same price point, and generally higher reliability. I like having a larger frame buffer as I think it helps keep up a little more than a 2 GB frame buffer. If 2 GB is good for you and it's cheaper, go for it.

Alright, I'll try toi get a WB Blue then and a 4GB card if I'm able to find it, I would really like to get the Strix but if Zotac or EVGA offer similar cards at a reasonable price locally I'll go for it. My main corcern is with shipping, anything that exceeds 1 pound will cost significantly more, so I try to get the heavier components locally.
