Outlook 2010 created a new outlook file and added back the email addresses, no contacts.

So outlook 2010. it wouldn't start up...

 

In the end, I had to create a new .pst data file, and re-add the two email addresses.

 

Now the contacts are gone but the emails are back and it seems to be working.

Any way to retrieve the contacts?

the .pst gives errors whenever I try to read it.
