War thunder will only run on Ultra low on 4th gen i7 laptop

I have a Lenovo Yoga 2 pro that I want to play war thunder on it. It will play at a not bad fps but it gives me this error   https://imgur.com/s6oQoY8. I tried to find a vram . option in the bios by pressing f2 on boot but it only had basics like date and time & boot order. My specs are (https://imgur.com/m4vwTxB) and here are my warthunder settings https://imgur.com/cJYzIFc ive tried lowering the res and lowering the settings but it only will run at ultra low witch looks like poop. Dose anyone know how to up the vram on this laptop or make this error go away so I can play at med or high settings?

No dedicated GPU, coupled with super high resolution. You might not be able to play without buying an external GPU dock and GPU.

EDIT: You can't get an external GPU for that laptop...

I upgraded from a Asus x501 with a i3 that could play medsettings 40fps so this should, it also plays eu4 well

OP, you're putting too much faith in the capabilities of your laptop.

Laptops dont have to be gaming  laptops to game. This laptop is fine gaming with other games its just warthunder not the laptop. I had a asus x501 with a i3 that ran it fine

Look for a way to override the automatic settings. Maybe it's just something in the settings that makes it do that automatically.

 

But lol that resolution... what were you thinking? All the overrides in the world couldn't make it run well on that. Set the resolution to something else like 1080p at the very least, ffs.

Know the limitations of yo' device, son.

You can change the res... I changed it the same res as the x501 and got the same error, Please look at pics and at the op of my settings you can see that I can change the res. I did and still got the same error

Because it's not a capable enough card - it also needs to have the proper amount of RAM available to the iGPU and that is controlled by the motherboard

Edit the config/settings file in the install, should be able to find advice online...
