Yo, searching out some build stuff for some christmas upgrades, which build do you think would yield the highest FPS gaming with the best cost to performance? I know it's a bit stupid to go for a 980 with a 4460, but it seemed like a good idea at the time :P

This is also an option :Phttp://pcpartpicker.com/p/YfRy6h

I actually don't think it would be unbalanced to get a 980 with a 4460.

it might not get every last drop of performance out of the 980, but that 980 will get you more performance than a better CPU and an inferior GPU. the 4460 is quite capable even today.

This might sound a bit stupid, but I picked the parts slightly based on a e s t h e t i c s

So that motherboard would give my S340 black & white build a mild form of cancer

I'd say get the 390 if you're poor, or the 980 if you're a baller.

While I couldnt even afford a new R9 380. </3 God you can get me now.
