Do you think the Alphacool DC-LT pump strong enough?

Would the Alphacool DC-LT pump work fine in a loop with two GPUs, CPU, 360mm radiator, and a 240mm radiator?

Post your answers below if you think it will, or will not work. I've gone against what others have said, and used this pump in my latest build. I'll give you the answer tomorrow. Build log coming soon!

I'll give you a hint; 99% of threads say it will only work with a small loop.

It will work, but I don't believe it'll be as effective as a d5 pump. The pump will be pushed harder vs a bigger pump due to the large loop, that's not good for the life of it. A pump is like a power supply, or mobo it doesn't necessarily give a performance benefit but cheaping out on it can fuck up things in the long run.

I own a few D5s, but space was really limited. This small pump is VERY impressive; I'll tell you that much.

mm strength, not really. CPU/GPU loop yeah, more block restriction will be

a burden. the noise will prolly be the major black-eye on the use.

since it's inception, i'd used the dual LT and the alphacool res and that was

a bloody nightmare, leaking sap and noisey box of nothing. with alphacool

sending another res, six pumps, i had to resource new o-rings and still was

a major disappointment after sealing all leaks and then the noise.

had to reduce the voltage from 9.6v to 7.2v to hide the gigantic buzz, but the

the overall pressure went to utter pooh. could not boot anything less than 7v.

I've heard REALLY bad things about that dual pump res combo. Yes these small pumps are loud haha.

the cm eisberg was the first to use the LT in mass distro and they rue that day

of contract. two years to develop and one el-floperino. make it expandable and

whoops.. pump failure or not enough foam padding to absorb the metallic

bumble bees.

edit: hope it works out better than what i endured.

Oh wow! The wires on this pump are garbage though; had the re-solider. I think alphacool still sells the eisberg, but I'm not sure. As long as the pump lasts a year in this loop I'll be happy haha.
