When to buy?

Im going to purchase a gigibyte xtreme 980ti for a build. My question is should I keep waiting hoping for a price drop, ive heard the whole nvidia line with soon drop in price. what are your guys thoughts?

Only the lower end cards loke the 970 and 980 are gonna drop to cojmpete with AMD.  DOn't expect the 980ti's to drop too.

It's been over a year since the 900 series was released so I'd guess new products will likely be coming in the next 6-9 months. If you want to wait that long, go for it. Otherwise, winter sales are a good option too.
