Any different between Fullscreen and Borderless window ?

Play games in same solution as the screen , and see no different between Fullscreen and Borderless Window . Is there any different between both ? If not , what's the point to have Borderless Window ?

full screen is legit full screen. borderless is playing it in a window with no borders.

 

if i'm not wrong games perform better in full screen.

Generally, a true full screen will run faster.  In a borderless window, the game is running in a window with the desktop rendered behind it and it's less efficient.  But you could have enough resources that neither makes a difference.

I use borderless windowed so I can use my second monitor while in games.
