Methylated Spirits to clean CPU

Hey guys, i wanted to know if anybody has actually used methylated spirits to clean their cpu.

if you have some experience or just know the answer it would help alot.

 

On the bottle it says it contains min. 95% ethanol

Yes it will work to clean it off, basically same as denatured alcohol, just be cautious around plastics since some can melt it.
