Hi I am wanting to build a pc soon but I am wanting to play at least most of some of the newest games and play them in either 720p or 1080p @  60fps but I am not wanting to spend more than £600 on it.

I need :

CPU - either Intel or AMD but don't really know which one as Intel better but AMD cheaper

Motherboard will have to have at least 1 6Gbps sata port.

Around 12GB or more ram.

A good GPU which will let me play at least some of the newest games in minimun 720p @ 60fps or better.

1TB hdd for games / no need for SSD as have one at home.

PSU around 500W depending on the use of graphics and cpu.

Case but I want to go for a fairly good but cheap one.

A good monitor which allows 1080p also needs to be around 22" or biggger.

I can get OS and other things myself.

Would anyone give me a estimate as if this would be a good gaming pc for most new games around 60fps which is also a good price.

Thanks

Would you say they are good for gaming ? Thanks

No. Single core performance is what matters in gaming and AMD doesn't cut the mustard compared to Intel.

Amd is very cheap and is not a slouch on performance either, but you are sacrificing reliability.

It's a slouch. The top-tier AMD CPU (FX-9590) is comparable in performance to an i5.

For a CPU get AMD if you just want to cheaply play games, Go for a AMD A10-7700K I heard the work quite well for gaming. Intels more of a "All around" Cpu like gaming, video editing and productivity

For RAM go 8gb because no game currently needs more than that

For a GPU get anything that fits you, Im not good at picking GPU cards so... Google?

Ill edit this post if I find anything good for a case and a monitor but someone might beat me to it

EDIT 1: About The Official Czex comments about single core. I would just get a good cooler and over-clock the sucker.

Wow this was old as heck, Need to update this signature!

Oh okay then thanks and oh that's not not bad seen that CPU around a lot lately. And was going to get 8GB ram but does the new star wars need more even though I don't even like star wars much. Might look around for a good GPU then. Oh okay thank you.
