My situation:

  • I have an Asus K73SV with OEM Win7. It is littered with all kinds of programs and games and what not .... I would really like to do a clean reinstall
  • Said device was recently upgraded to Win10
  • I now got myself an SSD to add to the existing hard drive
  • The software that came with the SSD seems to be only able to clone from my harddrive
  • HDD 500GB; SSD 250 GB but the HDD is filled more than 50%

This is my general idea:

I heard there is a "reistall windows" button in Windows 10. is that only for Windows 10 professional?

Generally how would I do this. I has already been hard work getting Windows 10 to work on this machine and I would really not like to clean reinstall windows 7 to then upgrade to Windows 10 again( Would there still be any queues to wait in for the download?).

Just how would you go about this in genereal/or even in detail because I feel kind of lost with this problem :/

No its not but it may not work sometimes,I can't get it working so I used media creation tool to create a bootable usb.

My recommendation is to create a bootable usb using media creation tool and reboot to the usb that you've created. Remember to back up your files.
