well for the best without going completely overboard either the Audio-Techinica ATH-AG1/ADG1s or the Sennheiser GAME ONE/ZERO (which btw PCCG's got a pretty sweet deal on atm: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/27836)

ok then, $100? probably HyperX Cloud Core (should be about $60-70)

I have a logitech G430 and i love it.

My first proper headset and the surround sound is great (and overall sound ofc)

Not very expensive either and also quite comfortable on the ears.

Mic is great aswell.

The sound card for it is horrible I heard.

Any cheap great sound card?

That "surround sound" stuff is just marketing. I can hear where stuff is coming from with my ATH-M20x...

No direct volume and mic control and has swivel ear cups

The 7.1 surround sound simulates it

There's a software for the headset
