Razer switches ?

Hey guys !

 

I'm getting my self a little present for Christmas. A new razer mechanical keyboard. I'm so exited but I have one small question. What type of switch should I get ? The Kayle green or Stealth orange? I am a gamer , I play Gta V , league of legends , Csgo extt... just in case that helps in any way. 

 

I do live in a house with my family , I'm in a room about 10 feet away from them with a closed door . Do you think the greens would be too loud and annoy them ?

nah. they're about the same loudness as MX blues. although most of my family thinks they're ridiculous, none of them can hear my keyboard outside of my room.

I do have about $1 worth of O-rings to dampen the clunk when you bottom out, so it's a more pure click, and shortens the key travel.

Na, I use Cherry Greens and they are about as loud as someone eating a bag of chips.... really really loudly... Same room I would say no but you should be fine

I use the Razer BlackWidow with the "Cherry MX Blue" switches. I like the tactile feedback and I type pretty hard.

I don't think I'd ever buy a keyboard with Kailh switches willingly, but oranges are supposed to be like browns if I recall correctly. So if threats were used, I'd buy the oranges.

I have a Blackwidow with Orange switches, and they still click, just a bit quieter.

As others have said outside of the room the noise probably isn't an issue. But as my PC is in the bedroom, when the GF stays over she complains about the noise of the Orange ones
