What kind of editing are you doing?

Are you sure you need a bluray drive? Most people don't even need a dvd drive nowadays.

hey guys, just took the leap from just PC gaming into the building the computer on my own. I'm going to be overclocking, and running graphics intensive games and doing a little video editting. any advice on the build would be much appreciated.

Case: NZXT Phantom 530

CPU: i5 4670K

Motherboard: ASUS Z87 Deluxe

GFX Card: Evga SuperClocked GTX 780

RAM: Corsair Vengence LP 16GB

HDD: SeaGate Barracuda 2tb

SDD: OCZ Vertex 4 128GB

PSU: Evga SuperNOVA 1000W

Optical: ASUS black Blu-Ray driver

total cost (minus monitors): 1827.92$USD

As i said any advice on the build would be much appreciated

Budget? Region?

Psu is overkill. A 600w would do. A decent 750-800w would do if for sli.

Everything in a nice build, You can make it cheaper in places but It's still below your budget and you have a lot of room for your watercooling setup, Monitor is good, Big ssd, you can change the graphics card to something different if you like since your watercooling. Good stuff. Also you can bump up the hdd if you want. All in all i think it's nice.

Also if you feel you don't need a 4770k just bump down to a 4670k,
