My PC has recently been freezing and black screening very badly, it used to freeze and I was able to alt tab and eventually get back into my game.

But now it black screens and the only way to fix it is to turn my PC off from the power point.

Everything has also been very slow to open, process etc.

Main Specs:

GPU: GTX 650 Ti 2GB

CPU: AMD fx6300

Ram: 6gb ram

Motherboard: Asrock 970

(Tell me if you need more)

I suspect ram, does it do it when you load up programmes or specifically games? also what's with the 6gb of ram? are you running 1 x4gb stick and a two? that may be the issue if not a faulty stick as it's advised not to mix

yes, I am using one 4gb stick and a two. Loading up programs and games is very slow now, but also when I play any games weird freezes can happen at any time.

Try it with just the 4gb stick and see, you can run memtest86 also to check the quality of the sticks individually, or maybe a borked operating system
