What genre's of music are you guys into?

I personally like some metal, especially power metal!

My current playlist includes:

  • DragonForce
  • Scar Symmetry
  • Nightwish

These days I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY into Wintersun. Probably one of my favorite metal band(Tied with Iron Maiden and Bodom)

Also like The Bravery and Mitis.

Yeah, pretty random selection I know.

Breaks.. Breakstep.. Drum n Bass.. Electrostep.. anything electronic that hits hard, TBH.

Also a huge fan of symphonic scores, certain soundtracks/soundscapes really appeal to me. Hans Zimmer.. Bear McCreary.. etc..

I'm looking for some new stuff right now, something chill with a female singer.

My favorite bands that I can keep coming back to include stuff like:

Radiohead

Portishead

Pink Floyd

and every now and then stuff like Foo Fighters or Joy Division.

I listen to mostly all categories of techno: edm, dubstep, trap, etc. I also listen to rock, punk rock, some rap if i want to party.

I mainly listen to heavy metal and dubstep, and the occasional mainstream pop song;) My music taste is seriously messed up.. i basically like anything.

I listen to Coldplay, Foster the People, Broken Bells, One Republic, Kings of Leon, The Killers etc. I would describe it as 'music made by bands' and I only listen to songs with lyrics.

I don't think I would be able to write down all of my music. I don't know why I prefer those bands' music over other music. I don't care whether it's mainstream or not. I just don't get the same feeling with some other types of music. Besides, I do listen to just solo artists their music, but I usually don't have more than a few songs of each (except for Nelly Furtado and Robbie Williams).

I don't usually judge people for their musical preference, but sometimes I notice there are people who just like what their friends like. I think it's always good to discover some music by yourself. Only listening to what my friends listen to, I don't find myself happy and I think nobody would too.

Expermential hiphop, electronic, indie.. I listen to so many genres and even name them properly, basically anything that sounds good include dubstep.. Music is Life...

The only genre I dont care for is country..

I dream of 0s and 1s folding to my every command,

algorithms seeping from the back of my head when I need them.
