I will suggest changing that PSU if it really old

 

the caps inside the PSU last at most 2 years

 

also those line of PSU are known to fail quite fast if you use too much power

 

and it not even a true 500 watts  PSU

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Extreme 2 like the Elite series and Thunder are the lower end PSU from Coolermaster

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Sure its a bit shit but it will still work

 

I wouldnt go out and buy one, and I would recommend replacing it, but it will still work just fine with his set up and a 950

oh...I will try to replace the psu as soon as possible...so can you tell me one more thing...what kind of "sign" I will have if the PSU is going to break...cuz I dont want this psu damage the rest of my pc.. :D
