Long story short I was gifted a free alienware desktop PC that's getting on in its years...

Its a Alienware Aurora R4, looking inside it seems to have these specs:

GTX 260 (Not planing to use) Have a GTX 960 instead.

i7 980X CPU

Some sort of AIO 120mm Radiator for CPU

12gb DDR3 Ram (6X 2GB sticks)

And some sort of modular Powersupply that I can not make a brand name out. (Haven't taken this out of the system yet)

And a 750GB HHD with whats looks to be windows 10 installed.

The problem I am having is that I don't know what is the best way to merge the best parts of this system, with my current system...

I would Like to change my current Motherboard and CPU for this I7 980X and overclock the crap out of it..

I currently Have a 120gb SSD with my current AMD build that has Windows 10 installed, However its OEM...

So my question is... Whats the best way about making my SSD the main drive and will I have to by a new license key online?

I can't remember the site that was the cheapest spot to grab a spare key...I don't mind if its OEM again, because I'm not planing on changing that CPU for at-least a short while.

Any suggestions?

My new Gaming PC.
