Would this work?

Computer_Noob

Hello forum!

I have decided to upgrade my motherboard, RAM, GPU, CPU and to throw in a ssd memory into my computer so i'm looking at a major upgrade. So my friend put together a 900 euro list of the parts I will be buying. My current setup is: Gigabyte GA-PH67-UD3-B3 motherboard, Intel Core 2500k 3.3 mhz, AMD Radeon Hd 6850, 4gb of ram and 1tb of storage.

Exerything worked perfectly with the current build but it got kinda slow and outdated in the last year. The power supply will be working fine with the new list of components tho. I just need a confirmation from you guys if everything is in order.

The new components:

motherboard:  ASRock Z97 Anniversary

GPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB Dual Fan

CPU:Intel Core i5 4690K (3.50Ghz, 6MB) BOX

RAM:Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB 1600Mhz cl9 KIT - 1.50V

SSD: Intenso Top III SSD 256GB

Here is the link to the page with the list of the components

the page is slovenian but i don't think it will be a problem for you because it's just a checklist  :D

If every component is okay to fit together

Yes.

In my opinion, no offence to you, before people build a PC, just do 30 minutes of research to make sure everything is compatible yourself. It'll be the easiest thing you'll do all day, and will actually help you understand what you're doing, instead of just blindly doing shit.

Yeah, so basically make sure the CPU socket type matches that of the Mobo, make sure the mobo supports the type of ram you have (in this case DDR3 1600mhz), SSD is pretty much always compatible now, same with GPU.
