memory upgrade?

Hi everyone I have a little question.

 

So I was looking at some specs of a pc and I saw that it had some old kingston RAM

the RAM was kingston 8GB DDR3 (rest unknown) that had a max of 665.1 MHz should i upgrade it to some new RAM I kinda don't want to go the 16 so should I just leave it or put some new in.

I don't really know much about RAM so i for the pupose of gaming should I upgrade or is it just a waste of money.

Your RAM is likely 8GB DDR3 1866 ( 665.1mhz x 3 ), you're fine now unless you somehow want/need 16GB.
