Network is limited

Hey guys just an hour ago my pc has stopped connecting to the Ethernet it says "limited" I have tried everythingn (reinstall drivers,...) any other things I can do?

Can you try the ethernet cable with another pc?

Your not getting a DHCP lease from your Router / Modem. Have you rebooted your router ? Do you know what IP Address its on ?

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Do you have more than 1 network card ? 1 ethernet, 1 Wifi ? or 2 ethernet ?

Also try a reboot to remove the limited icon.

It will mean your on a static IP (always better IMHO), but high up in the range so shouldn't t cause IP Address conflicts from DHCP. I have seen it before where for some reason a NIC doesn't want to get a lease from DHCP, Are you running the latest driver for the NIC ?

1 ethernet going to my pc and one to my playstation.

I'll try the reboot now

latest drivers yes and this never happened before, what did happen is that the pc couldn't find any drivers and so I had to revert to a older system restore point (or how windows calls it)

So local on internet traffic are working fine with static IP, but exclamation mark is showing in system tray on network icon, showing local only?
