Hi. I've been looking at some power supplies, and it seems all the ones with nice looking all black cables have a decent price premium compared to ones with multicolored ones. I was just wondering if there was an easy way to cover those up and make them look nicer? I'm planning an all black + white build, so I feel that colored cables would be huge eye sores. Would electrical tape work? If anyone knows a safe way to do something like this, it'd be good to hear.

Unless, anyways, if someone can tell me what they think about this PSU?  It has black cables and seems to be a good deal, but I've been told by a few people it's unreliable. However, the reviews on every site I've checked have been mostly positive and average around 4/5. So I'm having a bit of confusion with that. Thanks ppl. http://www.ncix.com/detail/thermaltake-smart-750w-atx-12v-cc-80745-1204.htm?affiliateid=7474144

Well, having the whole build stay under $1000 CAD (w/ taxes) would be nice, and I don't want to go over $1100. That's the cap off point. Here's my PCpartpicker link for the whole build: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/PPFfXL

And I'm pretty certain with my choices for the other parts. There are just no places I want to compromise in. I know the the PSU is the last place I should be compromising, and that's why I'm asking about this power supply and if there's a way to cover colored cables. Another PSU I've been looking at is the Cooler Master G750M.

Here's a review on the Cooler Master G750M

This one is in Spanish so I would open this in Chrome and let it Translate the page

I would avoid the Thermaltake Power Supply.

Thanks, this helped. Though after watching some videos and doing some more research, I've decided just to go with a 650W PSU. Specifically the Cooler Master V650.
