MSI z77 MPOWER

Go to solution Solved by Volbet,

all that I will be plugging in is one graphics card and one pci wlan card

You don't need it. Just plug in the 8pin and the 24pin

This motherboard has a 24pin, 8pin and 6pin connector?

Can I just connect 24 and 8 or do I have to connect 6 to?

I think the 6pin is a auxiliary power plug to deliver power to the PCIe slots in case you are running more than 2 graphics cards. Answer: yes you can just plug in the 8pin and 24pin

The 6 pin is for people running preferably 3 graphics cards or 4 in their rig
