Will this post BIOS?

I have been building a computer and the last part is a gpu that I am receiving for Christmas. I want to see if a CPU that does not have integrated graphics, a xeon e3 1231 in my case, will post bios without a gpu in the system.

Nope, you need a graphics output in order to drive the splash screen. If there's no iGPU then you will not get the splash screen.

Technically it won't post, post or Power On Self Test is the batch of tests the board runs at power up to ensure everything is safe to actually power up and that the system will work. In a modern system a GPU being present is a part of a post, no GPU means post will fail and your debug readout will show a GPU error or not present output.
