+1 for General applications everyday users will use. Ones you can buy in a regular computer store, video games, stuff like that.

It's a program that tries to do everything that 99% of casuals use to do 99% of the stuff that casuals do on computers. Or at least a large chunk of it.

 

Microsoft Office comes to mind. And Steam, in a certain light.

I guess the biggest example, though, would be Google Chrome. It's an e-mail client, a word processor, a social medium, web browser, chat interface, calendar, [crappy] translator, Navigation software, Photo gallery, cloud storage, news portal, open video client (youtube) and a media sales platform (google play)

well, i didnt tell him to google it, i googled it for him, sent him what he needed, then subtily said he should do more effort next time.

i discovered being subtile is the way to do it. the smart people get what you mean and learn from it, but it wont make the small minded douchebags steaming in anger.

 

theres no purpose in trying to educate small minded douchebags anyways.
