Browns hands down

 

dont like reds one bit, too light, no tactile feedback or anything

I changed from a membrane keyboard on the mechanical and Browns is great choice. Go ahead.

Can you go to a shop and try them out to see which ones you like? If not, I think i remember Jayztwocents (maybe LTT did one too?)showing a small test board with one of each switch type. You pay for it but then offset the cost of the keyboard, so if you're sure you'll get a keyboard, the test board comes out as free. Would be a good way to test, because it's personal preference and no-one here can tell you which you'd the feel of more.

If you make a post contradicting mine that doesn't directly address my claims, or cites 'facts' without evidence, I'm probably not going to bother responding to it, because you probably didn't bother reading my post properly, and because life is too short. It doesn't mean I don't have an answer for you. It means I'm not dignifying you with a response.

I NEVER touched Mechanical Keyboard before but i'm gonna get the K70....but having trouble choosing the switches

tell me what do i choose Red Or Brown Switch?

I got red switches on my K70 and they feel fantastic :D

 

But If I had the chance, I would swap them with browns :)

My advice would be to go out and touch one, everyone likes different things and if one switch was better than the others they'd only be making that switch ;)

Welp, this is the reason why I left, everyone tells people to get something and they might not even like it...

 

Go to the key switch guide in my signature and take the quiz there to find out what switch is best for you.  If it isn't browns or reds, then maybe the K70 isn't for you.  Instead maybe try looking at something such as CM.

Sounds like this is your first mechanical keyboard. I'd recommend getting brown switches :)

Brown, dont even think of getting red over brown.

i got the +710 with blue switches... only a typewriter is louder, i like the responsive hard clicking... my girlfriend not.  :D

yeah, this is the reason not that when i type the whole room is filled with click sounds that the TeamSpeak session of my girlfriend on the other side of the room can hear me.
