(PSA) F@H Client causing Steam mic issues

If you have F@H Running as a background process your steam may not detect any microphones. I had this issue occur to me and closing F@H fixed it.

 

An answer to anyone having any issues. Don't know why this happens, just know my mic doesn't work in any steam tasks if I don't close it.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

...if this is true... maybe this is why my new mic wasn't working with my headset yesterday.

Why would you have the process open while gaming anyways? I always close background programs.

Why would you have the process open while gaming anyways? I always close background programs. 

On my PC atleast it starts with Windows, and it needs to be closed through Task Manager.

 

Not actually folding, just sort of there, not appearing in the task bar.

But that's weird that it does that, maybe report the bug? I don't fold so IDK, but you can probably report it somehow.
