Location: Lebanon

Where will I be buying: pcandparts.com

Aim: This is aimed to be a rendering machine for 2d and simle 3d (autocad work mostly) for an interior desgin student.

Monitor: Only a single monitor 24inchs so at 1440p would be prefered

What I am currently thinking :

CPU: i7-6700 3.4

RAM: HyperX 16GB (DDR4)

Motherboard: MSI Z170A Gaming (DDR4)

Case: ---- (please recommend)

PSU: ---- (please recommend)

Cooling: stock? any other recommendation would be appricated.

Graphics Card: Here is the major problem, as I am not a rendering user myself I have no clue what I am supposed to look for when buying, I know Quadroes are the way to go, but they are out of the price range, so I was thinking of the GTX 980 which is 550$ + TVA as to my knoweldge and research it is a proven rendering graphics card from the GeForce Family.

Thank you for the help!

GTX 980 is good for the price range. As you're not overclocking or SLI you probably don't need a Z170. A H170 will be just as good for you. i7 and 16GB feels about right. Case is very subjective, the interior design student will probably have opinions on aesthetics. For cooler, no OC means you don't need anything extreme, though stock would run an i7 a little hot for me; Hyper 212 Evo? Do you have storage covered? For PSU see http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/199255-how-many-watts-do-i-need-check-here/  and http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html which should help; I'm no expert.

If you make a post contradicting mine that doesn't directly address my claims, or cites 'facts' without evidence, I'm probably not going to bother responding to it, because you probably didn't bother reading my post properly, and because life is too short. It doesn't mean I don't have an answer for you. It means I'm not dignifying you with a response.
