Question about the Hyper TX3

115x sockets are the same when it comes to mounting. Any cooler that works for 1156 will also work for 1155, 1150, or 1151. 

It's an alright cooler and isn't in any way amazing.

The site I'm looking at only states support for socket 775 and 1156. Will it work with 1150? Also, is it a good cooler in general?

it's okay for it's size but if your case can house an hyper 212 EVO i would go with that instead...it's bigger but certainly also much better!
