Buying monitor with dead pixels for price

Kupfury

Hey guys I was looking for one of those 144hz 1440p monitors. I run AMD so the MG279q interests me. It is 599 new most places but on ebay there is one up for ~415. It does say that it has one dead pixel. I was wondering if anyone had ever done the whole "significantly cheaper but not pixel perfect" route and if it was a good deal. Thanks a lot.

-25% for each dead pixel

I hate dead pixels

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

so it had 7 available and 6 have sold. It is just such a hard decision because there is not a specific picture of where the dead pixel is. just a generic photo of the monitor

Where is the dead pixel? If it is smack dab in the middle, no deal. If it is like very close to a corner or edge then maybe...

That is the problem. The picture on the listing is just a generic OEM picture of the monitor
