I shut my computer down and it wont boot back up. The power indication led on my motherboard flashes but but GPU does not recieve energy. I RMA'd my mother board a week ago due to the same problem. With the replacement motherboard the computer started working but the same problem came back after a few days. Then I RMA'd my power supply. It didn't fix the problem.

From my experience that is little.

try the psu from you moms computer if thats not solving I think the motherboard is k.o.

have you tried running only 2 sticks of ram but even with defective ram I think the sistem should at least post?

I tried what you said. None of them worked. Should send it to repair or something just to see? It costs like $100 at microcenter, but is still better than trashing my pc.

maybe some one with more experience could help but I really think is the mobo if it doesnt post you cant even see the TUF app code erros from tuf detective right? any leds or error codes on the motherboard?

The light on the motherboard that is always on when receiving power still works. But not the other lights that turn on the computer is on. TUF detective doesn't recognize when the motherboard is off so that's no hope either.

never regret building your own pc its just much nicer and better for your self boost up confidence and selfesteem. I had a friend who tried to cable manage his pc and killed his motherboard because it touched by mistake the ram stick and it unplugged and it shortened the motherboard because of misplacement xD.

is the power button correctly installed? maybe use the one on the mobo or bridge the 2 connectors if thats not the case you ether wait for some one with more experience or take it to a repair shop.
