HI,

my water bridge finally turned up for my SLI 970's so last night I tried some 4k gaming, was surprised how well it ran especially Witcher 3, the only real killer was Assassins Creed Unity, but no surprise there..

The only issue I have is with GTA V. It plays fine for a little while and then the game hangs at a black screen and I get a message saying that GTA V has stopped responding and closed with an associated message saying that the system is low on memory and windows will close necessary programs. low on memory? I'm pretty sure 8gb ram is the standard, I'm running 16gb so I figure there is a memory leak here somewhere?

You might be experiencing the "970 infamous memory gate", which means not enough VRAM

I'm not sure if it's caused by the vram issue, however the message relates to system memory. I've done a little searching today and it appears that memory problems are common with gta v

didn't have any problems with the memory, even if gta v says it uses more than 3500 MB

If it uses "more than 3500MB" of VRAM, don't look further, that's the problem with all the 970s.
