nVidia surround question.

Hey guys. I currently have a nVidia surround setup with 3x 1920x1080 monitors. I'm thinking of getting a X-Star 2560x1440 for more intense games. Would I be able to use my nVidia surround setup, with the X-Star as an additional display? And secondly, could I be able to drag games to the 1440p monitor for gaming? Thanks.

Nvidia cards with 4 outputs support 3 monitors in NVidia Surround + one auxiliary display, so yes.

 

And sure you can select a monitor and its resolution a game is displayed on. So yes, you can also play on the X-Star.

The three monitors you have in the surround config have to be the same, though the 4th aux monitor can be whatever.
