Hi,

Just another quick question - does a fan splitter slow them down? I'm just looking for some good splitter because my case has only 2 Cha headers on it and I want to run 3 fans out of it. Is it possible that it would make them slower? I mean, They are 3 pin and if one fan spins at certain speed, two of them will spin at half? Or if they are like 0.2A each and motherboard outputs for ex. 1A it wouldn't make a difference? Is there any simple fan controller that works just like splitter (connects to motherboard) but has an additional molex/sata socket to keep the voltage the same? I just want for uefi to have control over rpm and that's why I don't go with straight molex-3 pin headers solution.

If that matters, I plan to use 2x be quiet! PURE WINGS 2 120mm

Thanks for answers!

I need S340. But more Define S'ish

Each fan header supports max 1A power. So since most fans are either 0.2A or 0.3A per, its said that you can run 3 fans from each header. No, they won't slowdown. They will all spin at speed that voltage header is giving relates to. If you control fan from mobo, speed will be from the one which has rpm sensor connected.
