Lg 34uc87c vs Dell ultra sharp u3415w?

I don't know much about Dell monitors but I'll pick LG base on similar product experience. LG unless it's Acer.

You pick Acer first, than LG and not Dell at all?

What a shame.

Base on experience, I have several dell products that went poop on me while LG hasn't. Acer would be my choice on my new monitor, I'm just waiting for the holiday deal discount. I think it's subjective and I gave my opinion.

I own the lg that you speak of and... I haven't had one thing go wring with it. Some backlights bleed in the top right, but other than that flawless

DELL's stand has better cord management, lower height adjustment, and swivel.

And I bet for DELL's color accuracy / uniformity compensation over any other brand.

Let me get back to you on that the computer I have right now only had hdmi. Since that doesn't support a full 60hz at 3440x1440 I haven't played those on it yet my last part for my comp gets to my place on tuesday

The Dell comes factory calibrated, the LG not so much.

Me personally I didn't like the 21:9 form factor. The biggest deal breaker was with Netflix. In Internet Explorer 21:9 movies would be in 16:9 aspect ratio so there's black bars all around the movie. Some say to use Chrome for Netflix and use an extension, but that will lead to Netflix in 720p instead of 1080p, which is a pretty noticeable difference if you've been accustom to the higher bit rates.
