My 5820k, 32GB RAM, GTX 980ti editing build will use the Phanteks Enthoo Pro and I'll be populating all the drive bays with 6TB WD Red Pros and won't be using the 5inch optical bays. Can anyone link me to an internal optical drive bay to 3.5inch drive bay converter WITH vibration dampening rubber gromits please - can't find any anywhere (UK please) :D

Thanks!

James

uhh, why use that much storage like this and not just get a NAS  or another system to manage this for you?

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Because I'm strapped on both space and budget. I know those 6TB drives are expensive but I love the 6gigabit speeds and achieving that over a network is a PAIN IN THE ARSE, and costs a fortune

ok.

1. you do know that as soon as you go ovr 2TB failrates spike

2. do you really need THAT many?

3. if you do, Seagate has 8TB HDDs that are a lower price/GB (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st8000as0002)

You should be able to buy appropriate size grommets/rubber washers and use them with with an inexpensive 3.5" to 5.25" adapter.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aluminum-Mounting-Bracket-Adapter-Optical/dp/B005OJFASY/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1449260583&sr=1-2-fkmr0&keywords=rubber+grommts includes 4 rubber washers.

If you want something fancier you might try to source http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1JM3BT6925&cm_re=drive_mounting_vibration-_-9SIA1JM3BT6925-_-Product.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
