STRIX R9 390 upgrade problems

I've been atempting to install this graphics card for over a week to replace the current GTX 550 ti. Even swapping to a new power supply. I don't want replace the motherboard  to but i think the it may be to old for the card perhaps the DDR5 v-ram on the card is clashing with the ga-b75m-d3h and CPU  support for DDR3. I dont know please help.

 

Motherboard: ga-b75m-d3h

 

CPU: Intel Core i7‑3770 3.4 GHz Quad‑Core 

 

Power supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 B2

 

Ram:4x 4gb  Chinese DDR3

The compatibility is fine, did you uninstall the Nvidia drivers before installing the 390?

GDDR and DDR are quite different.

 

Shouldn't be any compatibility issues. Make sure you're cables are plugged in, both power and video. Make sure the card is properly seated in the slot. And if all that has been done and you still have issues, try asking a friend to help you test it with their system. It may just be a DOA card.
