Problems with building [Sorry if wrong subforum]

Hey there,

I'm currently building a pc and it's all going well except for the cables

If I connect the SATA cable with the PSU it won't work but if I disconnect it, it does work

Any suggestions eh?

If this is the wrong subforum mods, feel free to move it / delete it and tell me where to repost :)

Case is Define R5

are you plugging it into the correct port?

I mean not the sata cable but the cable next to it that i have to connect to the psu

the sata power cable right?

are you plugging it only into the PSU? or into the PSU AND a hard drive?
