Found this, not exactly a cyber-monday $50/240GB deal, but it's certainly not a bad deal at all, especially considering that it has a Phison controller.

Anyone know if Patriot make alright SSDs?

Yeah, they are fairly good SSD's however, there are better ones for a few bucks more. 

 

 

also...i didn't see a $50 dollar 240gb deal, lowest i saw was $55/240gb
