Sandisk ssd

JoeyConrad

I currently have a 500gb Sandisk SSD in my pc. In the windows explorer it show the drive as two different drives. One contains 195mb of space and the other hold the remainder. Can anyone tell me why this is and how to combine them as one drive?

If I'm not mistaken, you should not be able to see that partition unless you or a program assigned a drive letter to it. This partition is normal in windows and contains the bootloader as well as bitlocker encryption stuff, if activated. It is also called "System Reserved Partition".

Hope that helps.

Yeah, one is the system reserved partition and the other is the actual Local Drive. You can't really combine them.
