Scrapheap challenge idea :)

Really simply...

Build a PC that can take as much physical trauma as you can muster...

The longest still functioning machine is the winner :)

My Rig: - Gigabyte Z97 X5 MB / Core i7 4790K @ 4.4Ghz - Water Cooled Coolmaster AIO Loop (Push - Pull Config)/ 8GB Corsair Dominator ram at 2400Mhz / Palit Jetsteam GTX 980 OC edition / 128GB SSD OS / Program Drive + 2 TB hard drive storage / Win 10

To do it cheaply, shockmount a Raspberry Pi or Intel Edison or something with rubber bands in a steel enclosure.

Sig under construction.

Ahh but not just how long the pc will last for... but it also has to compete in benchmarks :)

To tell the truth there's only one side of my bed I can get out of. And I just about managed to do use it correctly.

What do you mean by it being an 'organic idea'?

Then getting out of the wrong side would mean pain lol :)

I mean it's an idea that could grow... other peoples input welcome.

I think the 'physical trauma' challenges would also have to defined to keep the result comparisons fair. Drop tests would be fun; they are many ways this could be done... :)

With extra points for bouncability??
