1080P monitor

doinurmop

Seeing as since 4K came out, 1080p dropped way down in price, does anyone know a nice wide 1080p monitor with good colours and viewing angles for £120?

Wide as in 2560:1080?

I'll be honest, I've never used a 1080p or wide monitor in general, due to how pricey they used to be, so I'm going to assume yes.

The Dell U2414H is one of the best 1080p IPS options there are, but it's out of your budget by a little bit. I own the Asus VS239H-P, which is matte with very accurate colors. The UK doesn't offer that, but this is a step up: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-MX239H-LED-backlit-Monitor-80000000/dp/B00A4K9KVG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1449027545&sr=8-3&keywords=asus+ips

which should use a similar panel.

edit: sorry, didn't realize you meant 2560 x 1080

yup little over budget, but depending on when I get it, I may be able to fit it in.

Though I'll probably get some other suggestions first

Sounds like he means "wide" as in not 4:3 or 5:4.

Eheh, as I said, my knowledge on widescreen monitors is not, so that basically sums up what I meant.

Oh. 21:9 is still expensive. Maybe you should buy a 16:9 instead.

Possibly, but if the calculations of my money and when I buy stuff is correct, I'll probably be able to get the

Asus MX239H 23" in october.

Doesn't look bad, though anything is better than my current monitor, I'll have to consider that one, though if I'm correct, I might aswell wait 1 more month to get the one the other guy linked, since by october, after i've bought everything else, waiting just that one more month, I'll have £180 to spend on a monitor.

That is unless pay is reduced or even raised
