Hard disk caching with ssd

SteveW2016

I would like to cache my 1tb hard drive with my 240gb ssd. I know caching is limited to 64gb, but it should only use that much of the ssd, right?

The hard drive and ssd are NOT boot drives nor are they in SATA 1+2. I just wanted to use it as a media drive.

I installed windows 10 to another ssd while in RAID mode, so that should not be a limiting factor.

I tried using Intel's Rapid Storage Technology application like the pcworld forum said, but I do not see an Accelerate button. The program also does not see the hard disks I have on sata 7+8, probably because it those ports have a different controller.

Both the 1tb and ssd are within the intel sata controller, or ports 1-6, they are both blank primary partitions, and RST application recognizes their existence; why can I not cache them? I have no idea what I've done wrong here.
